Marcia Petcher, FCILEx, TEP is a highly skilled and experienced member of the Wills and Probate Department at Smalleys. Marcia’s journey with the firm began in 2002 when she joined as a work experience student, and her dedication and passion for her work led her to qualify as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) in 2011. As a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Marcia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Marcia provides comprehensive advice on a wide range of matters, including drafting Wills, severing joint tenancies on property, obtaining grants of probate or letters of administration, and administering estates. She is dedicated to helping clients through the often difficult area of probate, ensuring that the process is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Marcia’s expertise also extends to transferring property, advising on powers of attorney, handling court of protection work, and drafting deeds of trust and deeds of variation. She takes great care to create Wills that reflect her clients’ wishes while also being tax efficient, providing peace of mind and financial security for the future.
